Roll up… Roll up. Hello my fellow vapers today we have a kit from Voopoo The Drag E60. This was very kindly sent to me from Healthcabin. Let’s get started the Voopoo Drag E60 Review together!
As always this review is my own thoughts and not associated with anyone from Healthcabin or POTV. Nor have I been paid for my thoughts.
Abit about the kit
Voopoo are known world wide for there Drag Line of kits starting a long time ago with the original Drag 157W box mod, since then we’ve had the Drag 2 & 3 carrying on the same shape and style and most recently the Drag q, x and S which were all tubular almost not as big and now they’ve sort of combined the 2 making a smaller box type shaped mod with a new pod tank and 2 new coils and this is what we will be reviewing today, the Drag E60.
The kit comes in 6 colours and I got the silver and black Variant.

Mod
First of this is a small, lightweight device considering there’s a 2550Mah battery built in I was surprised by its lightness. As with most Drags in the series its got the same leather type back grip surrounded by metal edging.
The Drag logo is imprinted but this time much smaller compared to other Drag designs.
Moving round to the front of the device you have a large colour screen, with 3 buttons a nice round fire button and underneath up and down buttons. Being a built in battery this kit is charged via USB type C quick charging and this port is found under the buttons.
The whole device and menu system is very simple to use, yet effective and there’s plenty of safety measures in place as always from the voopoo Gene chip which has been updated to minimise the use of button actions making it much more simple for users.
There’s not many options on this kit but the basic details and button combinations are:
- Press the fire button five times in rapid succession to turn the device on or off
- Hold the fire and up button to lock the device (also prevents vaping)
- Press and hold both up and down buttons to access the main menu
- Use the up or down button to scroll between menu options then press the fire button to select an option
- As well as being able to choose between vape modes there’s the option of resetting the puff counter, obtaining information about the device or returning to the previous screen
There is 3 modes to choose between:
- Smart- automatically chooses the best wattage for coil and will max out to prevent burning out coil.
- Rba- allows you to use any wattage with any coil.
- Eco- the user will be prompted to enter Eco mode when the battery drops below 40%, this Is said to reduce the drain on battery and improve the the number of puffs by 10%
During my testing I used Smart mode which always works perfectly when falling below 40% and entering ECO mode I can’t really say I noticed much difference in the vape quality but I didn’t see an increase on vape time that noticeably.
Also a big thing to note is although it says quick charging I was still finding it to take around 70 minutes to charge to full from dead. Which if you have other devices isn’t to bad but still felt a long time and there’s no noticeably battery venting holes on the bottom of the device.
Pod
The included pod with this kit is PNP 2 Pod, it’s a clear plastic pod and holds 4.5ml of eliquid (2ml tpd).
It has a non removable 810 drip tip which is on a plastic plate which is used as the opening to the filling ports, simply hold the drip tip and with a quarter turn it will come off where there is 2 filling holes covered by membrane.
My main concern here is the plastic threads and if over time there wear down and therefore the pod would be unusable, but during my testing time there hasn’t been an issue.
The kit however does have adjustable airflow and this is changed by twisting the pod when it’s on the device. Under the pod there is 2 slots the top one is to help see your juice level, then underneath is the airflow slot which is mirrored on both sides of the device. Hold the pod and twist and this will enable you to open and close your air intake. It is quite stiff at first but does loosen up over time but not enough for it just to spin.
I have found leaving this device for more than a day the eliquid simply just leaks out the ports and down the device. I know the weather, eliquid etc all plays a part in this but I would advise taking the pod out in the evenings and leaving it on the side if possible, to prevent leaking and possibly damaging the device.
Coils
The kit comes with 2 coils included a 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm, both coils are new to the PNP range and are being promoted as dual in one tech designed for DTL vaping.
Starting with the pre installed 0.2ohm coil known as PNP TW20 rated between 40-55W. Running both coils on Smart mode it automatically set this to 50W.
What fantastic flavour straight away its a dense rich flavourful vape, plenty of clouds and the airflow is restricted even fully open which is perfect for me. Closing down the airflow makes it slightly warmer but doesn’t change to much until its under 1/4 open where it starts to drop of and is abit uncomfortable.
Changing the wattage between the range I can say in my opinion 50W is perfect for this coil not ideal with a built in battery but using this as my main device I got over half a days vaping on a charge.
The coil after 8 days started to lose flavour so I swapped it out for the 0.3ohm.
The 0.3ohm coil also known as the TW30 rated between 28-36W much better suited for the inbuilt battery. Smart mode set this one at 35W.
This coil took a little longer to break in to full flavour than the first but once it did the flavour was very good indeed. Again a restricted vape with the airflow fully open and cutting it down a little gave a perfect RDL vape for me personally.
I did find this coil to be slightly noisier than the first especially when closing the airflow down slightly not annoyingly loud but could hear the slight air intake noise coming through.
Overall I slightly preffered the 0.2ohm coil but both produced plenty of flavour and clouds to match for such a small kit.
Pros and Niggles
Pros
- Easy to use
- Compact lightweight
- Smart mod helps not burning out coils
- New coils and compatible with whole PNP range
- 0.2ohm coil fantastic flavour
Niggles
- Pods are prone to a little leaking (I found)
- Not fastest charging
- Quick juice consumption
- Can’t vape when device is locked
- Plastic threading
- No battery venting
Overall thoughts
Overall for the kit, the brand and the coils it isn’t a bad bit of kit at all.
As everyone knows the PNP range of coils is very decent and the addition of 2 new ones is very welcome. The flavour and clouds this little kit produces is very good.
As always pod kits are prone to leaking especially when left for a while it’s not been awful but has been worse than some other kits. Unlike other kits you can’t vape when the device is locked not the end of the world but would make it slightly better, the coils, size of tank and wattages mean it does drink juice quite quickly.
The charging although not slow for the size of the device its not the quickest which I feel could be improved on.
As always a massive thank you to sue at Healthcabin for sending me this over for review its very much appriciated.
