Design
The design of the device is similar to what we are used to from the Luxe devices from Vaporesso. It comes in 7 different colors as you can see in the picture above. I got a sleek matte black device, which really stunned me when I saw it for the first time in real life. The device has 3 buttons on the front. A fire button on top and below the little OLED screen are a + and a – button. The housing seems to be an aluminum metal frame with two glassy looking plastic pieces on the sides. On the right side is a slider button for airflow control. The back of the device is plain aside from some branding and you can find the type-C charging port on the bottom of the device.
Performance
As we know from Vaporesso, this device also gives an amazing vaping experience. The GTX coils are trustworthy and give an amazing vape. These might honestly be my favorite coils I’ve ever tried, so when a device takes these coils, I’m already sold on it.
The device is consistent and barely ever misfires when taking a hit with the autodraw function. This was the main function that was really a step up for me regarding this device. Holding a button is such a small action, and when the button is placed conveniently – which it is – it goes almost automatically, but the fact that I didn’t have to think about pressing anything or how I hold my vape, really was a pro for me.
Flavor as well as vapor production on this device were outstanding. The flavor it gives is really up there with some of the best pod mods.
The battery also really amazed me. It nearly got me through 2 days, when using it MTL and RDL, mostly switching between the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm pods. The screen also shows the exact battery percentage, which I always prefer a little bit over a few lights that show you a range.
I also really like the smart mode this device has. It doesn’t really lock you in, but when you put the pod in, it sets it to the best wattage recommended for that coil, which makes it really effortless and easy to use the device. It also makes sure you don’t immediately burn your coil when you switch from a low ohm coil to a higher ohm coil.
Pods and Coils
As we are used to from the Luxe line of products you have amazing versatility in choosing your pods and coils. You can go for pods that have the coils stuck in there, but you can also go for reusable pods that you just change the coil in. The Luxe Pro comes with the X pods that have the coils stuck in there. In the package you get a 0.4ohm pod more directed toward the DTL kind of vaping and a 0.6ohm pod for RDL vaping. With the airflow almost closed I was able to do an MTL hit with both of them, but I preferred the 0.6ohm pod. This is simply preference, because I prefer an MTL kind of vaping style. I also still had some XR pods lying around, so I also used those a lot with the 0.8ohm and 1.2ohm coils with this device and those honestly gave me the perfect MTL with this device.

- Good build quality
Cons

Verdict
This has been one of the best and most versatile vapes I have tried, but I do feel it’s one more directed to the RDL and MTL vapers than the DTL vapers. It can definitely do all of those things, but if you are looking for a proper DTL I’d recommend the Luxe XR Max over this. Especially because of the bigger battery and you can go a lot higher with the wattage (80W). If you are like me and are more of a MTL and RDL type of vaper, I would definitely recommend this one more. Honestly lately I think Vaporesso has been doing it rock solid and I think anyone would be at least satisfied with this device. I think I would honestly recommend almost any Vaporesso device that is compatible with these amazing coils!
