Packaging
The packaging is always provided by Vaporesso. We find a rectangular box that combines the colors black and green. In the center we find an image of the device that goes according to the chosen color. We also witness some branding at the top and we indicate the model at the bottom.
In the rear the mechanics follow the same path. On a black background we are presented some specs of the product in addition to the contents of the box. In addition we find some logos and warnings and a barcode.
Device Inspection
This part is what I identify as the front part. If we look from top to bottom, the first thing we find is the button. It has a pretty good size for the thumb and has an incredible texture, without being plastic, it is very similar to the body of the mod. This button has certain functions such as;
– 5 Clicks we will turn off/on the MOD
– 3 Clicks we will enter the configuration menu
– To navigate through this menu we will use the up/down button and the fire button to select.
– Up Button + Down Button will control the increase or decrease of wattage
If we continue looking down we will find the up and down buttons, with which we will control the wattage. Finally we find a switch that will completely lock the device.
In general all this area is of great quality, besides that in this unit I love how they have combined the colors. The screen looks with a very good resolution, the buttons have an incredible touch, what more can you ask for.
The screen in question is this one, it brings a good amount of usual information, that can come very well for the user. Within that information we find;
– Battery indicator by slots (I prefer the percentage).
– Mode indicator (in this case PULSE).
– Wattage indicator
– Indicator of Ω
– Stroke/duration indicator
– Animation ( generic, ufo, soccer )
Speaking of vape modes, this device comes with a few, these in question;
– F(t) mode, adjust the temperature, heating speed and time, release the flavors of the e-liquid properly, providing a balanced and perfect tasting experience consistently from the first puff.
– Pulse mode, it is a mode to enhance the vape experience through constant voltage output, delivering optimal flavor production, throat hit, nicotine satisfaction, and perfect cloud temperature continuously
– Eco mode, it is a normal output wattage mode, you can according to the coil resistance to adjust the best wattage for your needs. The vaping time will last longer than the F(t) and pulse mode.
On one of the sides we will find the door leading to the battery compartment. These doors are linked by magnets to the body of the mod and I must say that I am completely impressed. The doors stay in place and don’t even wobble.
In this image we can also see the battery compartment, as you can see it is a single 18650 battery and also has a handle to remove it easily.
At the top we find the 510 thread, anchored to the mod with three screws. It seems to be quite strong but I warn you, in this mod, even a 22mm atomizer is quite tight, so better not to reach 24mm as can be done with many other Vaporesso mods.
Vaping Time
Before starting, for this review I used an RDA with 0.27ohm at about 35/40W. Therefore, I won’t talk much about flavors or anything because it will vary worlds from one experience to another.
Well, let’s talk about modes, the one they call ECO, is the adjustable wattage mode that we have known throughout our lives. Furthermore, it is the one that I used the most in my case, it seemed the most conventional to me and it suited my needs. Additionally, the battery lasts much longer than with the other modes.
The F(t) mode is supposed to give little knocks to the resistance to adjust it and get its maximum potential. I must say that the flavor intensifies somewhat but it is not a sudden difference either. Only, the ignition time of the coil is much faster than in ECO mode.
Finally, the Pulse mode is what we usually know as Bypass, it is the most aggressive mode of all and I don’t recommend it very much if I’m honest. In my case, he usually gives dry hits with this mode but each one is responsible for what he does.
In general, I can’t complain at all about the mod, what would I add? The battery indicator in percentage instead of slots for example. For the rest Vaporesso has done a great job, the doors are perfect and close very well, the performance is incredible, the quality of the materials is very good…
Conclusion
I still think Vaporesso is getting better and better with every product they make. In particular this mod seems exceptional to me, it has a light weight, different vape modes, an elegance… What would I change? Sincerely the remaining battery indicator for a percentage and I would have made it a little wider, as it is almost just right with 22m atomizers.
