Hello friends and welcome back for today’s review of the latest Jackaroo device that takes a single 18650 replaceable battery. If your familiar with the Jacaroo you’ll see no difference in the form of the internal version one and this is a IP67 rated device making it shockproof, waterproof and dustproof. I have reviewed all of the Jackaroo versions over the years and have been very happy with all of their performances while still using them for a long time after review testing because they perform great. Vandy Vape makes some really great vape gear but does the latest Jackaroo continue to be a great performer, after some manufacturer info I’ll give you my findings.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Packaging is very simple just like the kit is with a sliding lower box inside a shell, in the lower box the Jackaroo sits in it own slot as does the 2nd coil0.9Ω mesh VVC-90 rated at 9-16 watts for MTL usage, charge cord and MTL drip tip for the 2nd coil.
Preinstalled in the pod is the 0.3Ω mesh VVC-30 rated at 30-45 watts. I was happy to see the new Jackaroo still had the same look and feel as the internal battery version. The user manual as well as the qualified certificate card are on the bottom of the tray insert.
Pulling the pod off the device needed some effort as the 4 magnets holding it in place are very strong. on the bottom of the coil is a safety sticker that that must be removed before operating the device. The large fill port is still up top for easy mess free fill ups as before, plug can be moved to the side when filling the pod which may not seem like a big deal but it helps keep your hand free.
You will have no issue viewing your juice during the filling process or just glancing at the pod because it’s very lightly tinted. There are 2 airflow slots for fully adjustable airflow selection, once your airflow is set it will not come off it’s setting until you chose to change it.
The airflow selector has the just right resistance to it with some knurling to aid your grip when adjusting. The pod is a very airy one when fully opened up so DL users will be happy, I like it at the almost half closed when using the 0.3Ω coil and almost fully closed when using the MTL coil. In all my pictures you will see the protective sticker on the display screen, I try to keep them on as long as I can before they eventually will fall off, I don’t like scratched display screens.
The Jackaroo uses a bottom battery door that has a push button opening that snaps open when the button is pushed. Inside the battery tube is a Red X indicating the positive side of the battery, no polarity marking or symbol is on the battery door itself though.
The 0.3Ω VVC coil is rated for a range of between 30-45 watts and has a semi warm vape, you don’t need to go as high as the max on the coil to get a great flavorful vape as my sweet spot for this coil is between 35-38 watts ( Great Flavor ). The 0.9Ω VVC MTL coil hit at 15 watts turned out to be my sweet spot with it giving great flavor, both coils are no slouches in the vapor department either.
The display screen is bright enough to see the info posted on it with no problem, there is no adjustment for the brightness because you really don’t need one. the display is nicely laid out and being a wattage only device it’s simplified even more.

It’s not to often you come across a device that has killer looks and performs great so reviewing the Jackaroo 18650 is a treat because of it’s performance and it’s attractive appearance. I have always loved the Obsidian Black color because the side panels look like Indian flint arrowheads.
FINAL IMPRESSIONS
You pretty much know by know just how much I like the Jackaroo 18650 Kit, I will say the only con that I have for it is really not a con but I have to find something that could be improved and it’s that it’s on the noisy side, that’s it!!!
It is a thirsty pod but I’m fine with that because it insures against dry hits. You get a 0.3Ω coil for RDL or DL plus a great MTL coil with a MTL drip tip as well ( VALUE ). Either way you vape or if your like me vaping RDL and MTL you get a great value in a very nice kit. I recommend the Jackaroo 18650 Kit 100%.
I would like to thank Sue and Health Cabin for providing the Jackaroo 18650 Kit for the purpose of my review, I also want to thank all of you that read my reviews.
