Design

The whirl F from Uwell comes in a really compelling tall, hexagon design that really has its charm if you’d ask me. It comes in four different colors, but I really like the black one because the spinner on it has a different color than the device. The spinner has this dented finish to it that feels really nice to spin and lower on the device there is some Uwell Whirl branding. Below that is the small led indicator for the battery and on the bottom of the device there is a USB-C port to charge the device.

Pods

The pod is very small and narrow, which in combination with the low wattage and high ohms, make it a device for a tight mouth to lung draw. The pod is really comfortable because of the narrow mouthpiece. I really think this could be a winner for people who smoke or come from smoking to make that transition seamless.
The device comes with one pod pre-installed and no spare pods. Because of that I’ve assumed that there are no other resistances for this pod yet. I’ve been googling it a little bit, but this seems to be the only option. It could be that Uwell is going to release different pods for this device later on, but that’s not the case yet. Flavor on these pods is definitely good. It really seems to be a simple device directed to those people who enjoy that tight mouth to lung draw.

Performance

In terms of using and vaping it, this device is pretty close to a lot of pod devices we’ve already seen. The thing that makes it stand out really is the fidget spinner attached to it. I think a lot of people like these kinds of fidget toys, even adults that like vaping. As a person who has ADHD myself, I’ve always needed something to keep my hands busy and I still do sometimes, so I really love it’s something that Uwell thought of to add it to a vaping device.
Flavor wise this device is really up there with other devices that Uwell has produced in the past. I would call it on par with the flavor from the last Caliburn devices that were released.
There’s not much to this device, like wattage adjustable or adjustable airflow. I also don’t think there are other pods for this device yet, except for the 1.2 ohm, so this device is really good for those people who just want an easy and simple experience when vaping. Just filling the pot and start vaping the device, no bells and whistles or anything technical.

Pros

  • Good flavor
  • Integrated fidget spinner (makes it unique)
  • Comfortable to hold
  • Easy to use

Cons

  • Only one pod in the package
  • Small battery

Verdict

I really think this could be a great backup pod, to use when you’re out and about, especially if you’re someone who struggles with fidgeting, like me. The flavor is honestly impressive, like what we are used to from Uwell pods, the e-liquid size from the pods is up to par with TPD. The only let down with the device is that there is one pod and the battery is quite small. If you’re after a stylish, flavorful pod system with a playful twist, the Whirl F could be a solid choice, especially as a backup pod for on the go.
