Hello and welcome back for today’s review of the UWELL Crown B Pod System, this pod system is in my opinion a perfect starter kit while still having great features for a seasoned vaper looking for a simple easy to use device. Being a pod system you won’t get a full days worth of vaping like a full sized device can give but it does alright for what it’s designed for. Having a internal 1150mAh battery and the ability to use it as a DTL, RDL, or MTL device adds to it’s features of 3 power levels, 2 supplied drip tips of different bore sizes, fully adjustable airflow and the ability to vape while charging. After some manufacturer information I’ll give you my findings on this pod system. So let’s get started the Uwell Crown B Review together!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The Crown B pod system is a simple device and the packaging follows suite with a simple outer sleeve box, sliding out is a tray containing the device with a Black rectangular box below it that contains the small USB-C charge cord, the 2nd coil ( 0.8Ω mesh )and 2nd smaller bore drip tip. Under the devices tray a envelope with the user guide, warranty paper and warning paper lay.
The fist thing I noticed was the dark tinting of the pod, dark pods can sometimes become a issue viewing juice levels, the 2nd thing I noticed was the dial on the side of the device that is used to fire it and change to one of the three power levels offered in this system.
Picking the device up it felt to be just the right size for my hand and rather lightweight as well. All corners are rounded off adding to the good hand fitment. Immediately I could see it was a fingerprint magnet on the plastic pieces which I suspect is why it only comes in one dark color. The front and back show a image of a circuit board that illuminates when the button is pressed or using the auto draw, as mentioned earlier these lights serve a dual purpose.
Charging was done immediately so testing was done using it fully charged, it only took a short time of charging to reach a fully charged status. On the bottom is where you will find the charge port with is alright because it keeps the look of the device rather streamlined.
Bore sizes are different and can be used in either vape style, after trying the tighter MTL drip tip on the 0.3Ω mesh coil it was ok if you like a tight RDL vape but on this coil the larger bore sized drip tip worked better. To give you a better idea of size I took a picture of both of them.
Before using a protective sticker must be removed that covers the bottom of the coil, this sticker is just a added safety measure preventing accidental firing of the device. The pod connects to the device as most do using magnets, these magnets are ok but I would have liked stronger ones.
When installing a coil it is a push and pull type but the coils have a flat spot on them that must be aligned with the flat spot on the pod, there is a small arrow pointing the flat spot out on the pod, after lining them up be sure the coil is fully seated inside the pod after installing it.
The fill port is located on one side of the pod and uses the same rubber plug found on other pod systems, like the flat spot a arrow point to the end to lift up to fill the pod. A minimum juice level line is imprinted on the pod as well but because of the dark tinting it’s hard to see the juice level.
The airflow is pretty smooth in all settings but does affect the warmth of the drip tip when the slider is closed down a lot, personally I like the airflow wide open on the 0.3Ω coil and closed down 1/4 on the 0.8Ω coil using the smaller bored drip tip. The Crown B uses a single airflow feed at the top of the device.
The adjustment dial is a nice touch because a button could have been used, the noticeable fine clicks of it show quality and the chiseled knurling around it brings a classy appearance. The auto draw is flawless in it’s operation and vape the same as using the button, to disable the button and use it in auto draw only just press the fire button twice quickly, do the same to reactivate it.
Power levels as well as battery strength is done with a 3 color system using bright LED lights that light up the one side of the device, these lights come on when charging or vaping.

FINAL IMPRESSIONS
My findings are that this can be used as a MTL vape but it’s really set up for a RDL or DL vape because it has so much airflow, in RDL or DL it works great but is a very thirsty beast, it really plows through juice very quickly.
Having a 1150mAh internal battery is good but I like it in it’s highest wattage output of 25-35 watts and at that rate the 1150mAh battery depletes rather fast. The flavor is very much above average but UWELL is noted for that with their coils.
Overall I like the Crown B Pod System very much but wish it had a larger battery for long trips outside and away from a power source needed to charge it. I will however continue using it and get replacement coils because of how good the flavor is only it will be used as a indoor device or for trips not exceeding 4-5 hours.
I would like to thank Sue and Healthcabin for providing the Crown B Pod System for the purpose of my review and I would like to thank all of you that read my reviews.
