Teslacigs Punk II Mod Review by Petushkov

We close the weekend with a real review – a box of a mod that suddenly returned to the business of Teslacigs arrived on a visit. Perhaps the most famous line of the Punk brand was continued. However, running ahead – I was not waiting for such a return from the once -popular manufacturer.

With the topic for conversation, this time, I advised the Healthcabin.net store.

We start getting to know the first impressions – in general, pretty, but not very convenient – even large and too heavy. First, according to the design – Boxing Box justifies the name of the series – it is decorated with embossed gears and other theme attributes. I have never been a fan of such a design, but I know that many people like it. It all looks unobtrusive – there is definitely no busting with this matter – why not note it in the pluses. Moreover, the cut of the device due to the cutting front end can even be called original, and even better old. By the way, I note the packaging, although I almost never do this – a pleasant feed / materials, etc.

On this, pleasant impressions are over – well, almost. The dimensions are not the smallest – well, damn it. Sharp edges, moreover, without exception, spoil the “remnants” of decent ergonomics. I understand – Oldskul, an attempt to return the “former” fan – but not just dramatically. In short, uncomfortable – boxing is not the narrowest, so the faces are also “cut”. We go further-weight is generally something with something. Without a mod, it weighs 270g, and if it is charged, then all 411g is very difficult (I understand again – a kind of condo copy, which can be dismissed from hooligans in the gateway, and some of this amount of metal is inspired by confidence – but not the same.

We continue to throw it – next in line the connector. It is encircled by a steel well, which is “rising” over the main building the little, and prevents the LKP from scuffs and scratches. However, he does this “too” zealously. And perhaps the micro -lace would not have been striking, but here there is “but” – the atom stands on the box of fashion at a slight angle (then a little crooked). That is, on the one hand, the gap is much larger than on the other – Diesley! We are going further – the pin was planted deeply – some atoms with the “anti -vandal” lining of the box did not see the box (everything is OK without it). But this is not the end – the saddest is the landing reserve here. To be honest, I could not even measure it for sure. At first I was embarrassed by the thickness of the upper site of the case – 23.5mm – but the point is not even in it, although in it too. The case is the location of the connector – as you can see, even 22mm is already unpleasantly hanging over the back end – what can we say about a larger diameter. I’m directly interested in what “ideas” moved by the creators when they decided on this – this is a fiasco…

Probably the little that pleased is the control panel. The activation button is very large – it is conveniently located. The click is pleasantly muffled, the course is slightly less than average, elasticity, on the contrary, below the average. In general, the latter leaves a pleasant impression – there is almost no backlash – although all the keys are metal. The control buttons at the base are almost the same, however, the elasticity of pressing is already “it”. The slope of the quick lock is convenient – the course is moderately tight – it is involuntarily not activated.

The color display is a good brightness (unsatisfied), but I liked the sharpness / resolution of the screen more. The design of the desktop in the trailer is normal / adequate, moreover, the color scheme of the UI can be changed – many variations are proposed. The connector for charging a modern sample, the current is not particularly nimble in it – there is nothing to praise.

Access to the compartment for power elements from below – there is a non -loaded folding lid with a slide clip cover. The lid looks reliable or even, as I said, Kondovo, but here it already sounds the opposite, as a plus. Still – she weighs a lot too.

As for the managing chipset – in principle, it is normal – decent functionality, and almost everything is good in work. Of the features – there is an intended prehewl, tightening counter, fixation and adjustment of resistance, but there is not even a banal control unit of control keys. However, the latter is not particularly needed if there is a slider. Management is not the most understandable – even rather non -standard – the modes are available from the desktop by double pressing on the fire, the contracting are removed in a separate menu caused by a triple press.

At work – the resistance is read with a minimum error or without it at all, the box is frying a fashion quite confidently and probably honestly, it starts medium quickly. The charge indicator is informative, the charge is consumed adequately, the resistance raises from 0.1ω, and maybe even lower. The only claim is incorrectly working bypass. Impression

Oh, and impressions – I will say this – from the pleasant in all of the above only the fact that Teslacigs returned to business again. However, it seems that they themselves are “ashamed” for such a release – even on the official website there is no information about this project. I will not say that everything is bad here – no – but before Tesla made mods much more pleasant and many times more interesting!

There are not many pluses, but even more minuses-moreover, all the disadvantages are precisely the disadvantages, and not some of the nit-dodirka sucked from the finger. And at least the price tag, the guys could straighten the situation – AN, no – and there is a mistake. For such an amount – in fact, even less – you can find many more pleasant analogues…
