Today I bring you the VOOPOO Doric Galaxy, a device very similar to the GeekVape Wenax M Starter Kit. The grace of these devices is the powerbank that comes included in the kit. In this case, we combine a pod with a capacity of 500mAh with a powerban of 1800mAh, totaling 2300mAh, more than enough for a day of vaping at the powers used in this type of vapes.
Thanks to Healthcabin for making this review possible, you can visit their website and learn more about the VOOPOO Doric Galaxy.

Packaging
The Doric Galaxy is presented in a rectangular box of thick cardboard. On the front, the most striking feature is a large image of the device, apparently in the chosen color, so it is almost certain that there is an individual packaging.
The decoration is also based on the color of the device. In addition we can see in the top left some branding, which shows the brand and model of the device, as usual lately in VOOPOO, in yellow.

The contents of the box are shown on the back. In this case it is quite complete as it also brings filter drip tips, just like the GeekVape Wenax M.

Device Inspection
Something that bothers me a lot and that for me is almost an insta killer, is that the device does not stand upright on the table. That is, it falls down all the time. The normal thing, in all devices, is to let it stand and stay, in fact some even have a small rubber part on the bottom so that it does not slide on the table. This one is the opposite, it falls off by itself and honestly, I hate it.
Leaving that aside, in what for me is the front, we find a small area of chrome, which reflects a lot. At the top we have a kind of touch button, that is, it does not have any kind of travel. If we press it, 1 to 3 LEDs light up, depending, which indicate the amount of battery remaining. We also find some branding in this area. Something I must add is that I think that due to the chrome color, this area is going to be very easy to scratch, something I do not like.
The rest of the device is created in a kind of plastic, at least the outer coating. This plastic has a matte color that I really love, I do not know why they have not made the other area of the same color.
As we can see, the device is not quite compact due to the powerbank, comparing it with the BPMods Warhammer, the VOOPOO is taller, wider and longer. Considering that the Warhammer contains an 18650 battery, perhaps the space could have been better utilized.

If we disconnect the pod from the charging port, we can see what is hidden behind it. I don’t really know if the area where the filter drip tip is located is intended as such for storage, but it fits perfectly, both the filter and the POM. The way to connect the pod to its charging port on the powerbank is magnetic and very simple. Once connected it will start charging.
I like that it can be used while charging, it is a pretty good pro and I think useful, even so, it is much more comfortable pod once disconnected.

At the top we find the charging port of the powerbank that also has a fast charge of 5V/2A, which is appreciated of course.
At the bottom of the pod is where we find its charging port. By the way, speaking of the pod, I can say that it has two very small air inlets, as it is intended for MTL vaping and also has a battery indicator LED.

Vaping Time
I can state without any doubt that it is a very good device for MTL, perfect for nicotine salts above all.
As for the coils, I must admit that as almost always, I like much more the one with less Ω, that is to say, the 0.7Ω. This coil presents a phenomenal flavor and a quite considerable vapor production, as usual in VOOPOO coils lately.
As for the 1.2Ω, it is clear that they are more intended for an even more restricted vape, perfect for MTL lovers or for people coming from tobacco.
Speaking of the battery, thanks to the powerbank we can charge the device 3 times, which makes it easily last us a whole day the battery, thanks to the power to which the pod is driven.
Little more I can say, honestly it bothers me a lot that does not stand, and really, it’s something that will make me not use the device at all. It would cost a lot to change the shape of the base a little bit so that it is not so curved and it would stand upright? Anyway, after being somewhat harsh, I can say that as such, the device isn’t bad at all, but it’s clear that there’s a big (subjective) factor at fault.
