Uwell Tripod Review by Pizza Dave-Cover

Hello everyone, Pizza Dave delivering the freshest reviews I can. Every once and a while something neat comes out that makes me all excited. Well, today is the day. Is it like the ultimate game changer? No. Does everyone need one? No. But it is cool. Today we are talking about the Tripod by Uwell. This is a pod system that incorporates a carrying case that charges a pod battery, but in the name comes the trifecta. Three pods all loaded up at once for a variety and longevity. Let’s get right to it eh? Let’s get started the Uwell Tripod Review.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Well would you just look at that? It looks like some funky cylinder out of a sci-fi movie. I tapped the top and white LEDs illuminate around it. Very neat. Slide the thing open and there you will see a mod w/ pod installed, and then two spare pods on the backside. Everything is held solidly in place and it looks very cool. Since I know I enjoy calliburns, I was getting to the usage part with arms wide open!

OPERATION

Super simple. The case has white LED lights that show if it is charged or not. If they are charged, you toss the mod within and keep it charged. It has an LED indicator on the side for battery level also.

  • Green – 60-100%
  • Blue – 30-60%
  • Red – charge it

Other than that, the pods are filled with a rubber flapper. They do require some rocking back and forth to get the air to escape but they work.

USEAGE

Now here is where it gets interesting. The draw of this is like a caliburn but a little together. Flavor is on point and I never had issues with the pods at all. I rocked each of them for at least a dozen refills without issue and they were just great. The little mod itself doesn’t last that long, but ya can almost suck down a full pod on it before placing on the charger. One thing I will say though. The little pod by itself will not last all day or a night out. You have to keep the case handy for it to be a normal run of the mill day.

PROS

  • Good flavor
  • Smooth, tight MTL draw
  • Battery all day with the case
  • Love having variety of flavors through the day

CONS

  • Minor leaking of the pods in the case, but simple cleanup
  • Pods are kind of finicky to fill
  • Case is not super pocket friendly or stealthy

FINAL THOUGHTS

Alright, so what does this space age pod system do for me? Personally, I love it. I used basically nothing else once I had it. The flavor and draw of the pods is right up my alley and it was just a practical design for me. I loved having 3 liquids with me all filled and ready, along with a full battery. I found myself rocking through 3 flavors, then just filling them all up at the end. Usually a charge cycle of the battery + mod was about the time when the pods needed refilling. It is just a neat little system that stands out on the market and I dig it. Simple as that.

OVEN TEST – If this were to accidentally fall into the pizza oven, would I go out and get another? I will get more pods for this one!

Thank you everyone and thank you to Healthcabin for sending this my way for review!
